I.AM is an arts initiative providing accessible arts-related services to all members of York Region in order to explore their creative potential. We strongly believe in the power of creativity in bridging communities and people together.
The mission of I.AM is to provide a space of social and personal awakening through diverse artistic platforms.
I.AM’s vision is to be a cultivating community arts engaged initiative in the Regional Municipality of York.
Currently I.AM is in its second year of running and has already teamed up with the City of Vaughan and collaborated with local communities such as March of Dimes to bring art accessibility to the GTA. I.AM’s ultimate goal is to run a self-sustaining organization that provides free workshops for anyone in the community. Participants in these workshops would be invited to exhibit their work or performances in a professional environment without previous exhibition experience.
