Culture Days Photos File Naming Protocol
Each year, we receive hundreds, if not thousands, of photos from communities across the province. Managing, labelling and selecting the best of these files takes a considerable amount of staff time throughout the year. In an effort to streamline the process, we ask that you please use the following File Naming Protocol when sending us images:
Note: Many activities have very long titles. You do not need to use the full title in the file name, but something that indicates what type of activity it is. For instance, an activity named “Historical Lecture and Demonstration of Wood-Canvas Canoes” can be shortened to “CanoeDemo”. If you are submitted more than one photo from an activity, please number then sequentially. Examples: SUDBURY_CanoeDemo_001_TrixieBaldwin2015.jpg; SUDBURY_CanoeDemo_002_TrixieBaldwin2015.jpg
Please submit print quality, high resolution photos, unless that format is not available. Print quality is defined as: 300 dpi - for a 5" x 7" image, the image resolution should be a minimum of 1024 x 768 pixels. Please use .tiff or .jpg – no RAW files.
Please add your name and email address in the Description box so that we can reach you if we have any questions about your photos.
Notice of Filming

These rights granted herein are perpetual and worldwide. You acknowledge that you have no interest or ownership in products (film or photograph(s) in any form whatsoever) from this event or its copyright and that the producers are free of financial commitment or obligations to you as a result of this agreement with respect to the products.
